Sir, I will comeback here and you will see that I am carrying twins, I got up and left.

He looked at melike, so this one wants to teach me my job. Me too looked at him like, am aboutto shock you with the miracles the God I serve can wroth.

Not after I hearthose amazing testimonies from the altar, not after all the twins prayerrequest I have been writing years before I even met my husband. “Devil you canlie sha o”

Long story short… Igot home and started preparing for twins. God gave me a miraculous testimony,no fertility drugs (contrary to what I have heard people say), no specialregimen, easy pregnancy save for palpitations as a result of 2 men growinginside me, favourable conditions etc… Most times I think I don’t deserve it butJehovah is the all merciful who blesses us regardless of our situation.

I look at thesegifts and wonder… none of them look like fibroid ???, what I see are great andhonorable men, who will impact their generation and beyond, positively doingexploits and constantly showcasing God’s Glory.

Jehovah, me yourdaughter is saying thank you again. My whole being and all that I am is notenough to say thank you. Gratitude is all I have got in me!!!" She said.

Barack Obama picks Nigerian artist, Kehinde Wiley to paint his official presidential portrait

Barack Obama picks Nigerian artist, Kehinde Wiley to paint his official presidential portrait

Former US president Barack Obama has selected New-York based artist, Kehinde Wiley, to paint his official portrait.
Following a tradition that started with George H. Bush, the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery commissions an artist to create a portrait of the president and the first lady after their tenure. Obama’s predecessors have preferred to sit for 90-year old portrait artist Everett Raymond Kinstler, who has painted eight US presidents, but Obama chose to go with Kehinde. The Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery made the announcement yesterday.

Former first lady Michelle Obama has chosen Baltimore-based painter Amy Sherald to paint her portrait. Kehinde Wiley and Amy Sherald will be the first black artists to create official presidential portraits for the Smithsonian.
Kehinde Wiley is known for lush, larger-than-life portraits that overlay black street culture with European classical motifs. He is believed to be an exciting choice for the presidential portrait. Throughout his career, Kehinde has become renowned for creating portraits of African American men, including the Notorious B.I.G., LL Cool J, Big Daddy Kane, Ice T, Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five, Michael Jackson, and more.

Kehinde was born to a Nigerian dad and an African-American mom. He did not grow up with his father, so at the age of 20, he traveled to Nigeria to explore his roots and meet him.
Kehinde's mother supported his interest in art and enrolled him in after-school art classes when he was a child. He earned his BFA from the San Francisco Art Institute in 1999 and his MFA from Yale University, School of Art in 2001.

#Health : Ondo State First Lady, Betty Shares Touching Story On How She Survived Breast Cancer 20 Years Ago....Full Story Here πŸ‘‡

Founder of Breast Cancer Symposium of the Breast Cancer Association of Nigeria, BRECAN and First Lady of Ondo State, Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu, in an interview with Vanguard, narrated how she survived breast cancer 20 years ago.

Here’s her story;

‘I survived breast cancer about 20 years ago. It all started in 1997 when I was diagnosed. Before then, I didn’t know anyone who had that experience and the little information I got was from the international media. On that fateful morning when I felt something in my breast, of course, my mind raced to breast cancer because it was where such a disease was located.

I was scared and didn’t know what to do; it happened when I was resting at home during my annual leave. It got me thinking that if this happened to be breast cancer, what was I going to do at that age? I was 42 or 43 and I had little children. What would become of those children? I kept the discovery to myself for almost one week’.

She continued to say, ‘my baby was just four years’ old or thereabouts. So, I just tuned to television that morning and what I heard was that ‘this programme could save your life’.

Immediately I heard that, I raised my head from the pillow, sat and began to wonder, what could this be? And it happened to be about breast cancer survival journey. That coincidence saved my life. There was this woman and it was her journey through breast cancer diagnosis, and she happened to be the mother of a popular Hollywood actor.

She went through the treatment and, as a survivor, was sharing her experience. She used her journey to lift the spirit of those undergoing such experience and I benefitted from it.

That was how I summoned the courage to go to hospital, and said that ‘whatever this woman did, I am going to be like her’.

‘After the examination, the doctor confirmed there was a lump, but he didn’t know what it was.

When I told my husband, he was scared but he didn’t know I had been fortified by that television programme I had watched. He must have wondered where I got the strength because I was on my feet and prepared that whatever that woman did, I was going to do and overcome.

Then my treatment commenced. The first treatment was mastectomy. At the said time (1997), the level of breast health care was at the rudimentary level. Radical mastectomy meant ‘just remove everything (breasts)’ and I said ‘remove the damn thing if that is what will make me live’.

My experience was one of shattering loneliness, unavailability of information and group support, coupled with the tight- lip syndrome and indifference surrounding the disease’ she said.
