More than a week since she collapsed in Doha and went into coma, actress Isabel Granada was announced to have passed away.
One of her friends asked for prayers while she was in a coma. She wrote:
The sad news of her passing was announced by her husband, Arnel Cowley on Facebook on 5 November, which read, "It is with great sadness that my wife Isabel Granada has peacefully passed here in Doha, Qatar. She has been a fantastic wife, mother and daughter. She always did her best in everything she did, whether it be in front of a camera or sports."
Cowley also thanked everybody for their prayers and full support, before adding, "Baby... wherever you might be... just always remember that I LOVE YOU and I miss you very much."
In an interview with the media, Cowley admitted that Granada had already been declared brain dead back on 27 October, but the certified time of death was on 4 November at 6pm, Qatar time.
Isabel is survived by her 14-year-old son by her first husband, Geryk Genasky Aguas.
She was 41.
