A mass burial was held for 120 people allegedly killed by suspected herdsmen over the weekend in Zamfara state.
According to Waziri Mohammed, who works with NEMA, the attack was carried out on Saturday in the state, leaving 120 dead and a great number of people injured. Asides human lives, animals were also killed and properties were destroyed during the attack carried out by suspected herdsmen.
Members of the community, community leaders, and some security personnel were present at the mass burial, wearing sombre looks. A look at the corpse wrapped in white clothes shows that most of them died in the most gruesome ways as blood stains can be seen on the burial shrouds.
