"Sow into our ministry and get connected" - Young Nigerian pastor says as he drops his account number on Facebook

A young Nigerian pastor took to Facebook to encourage people to donate to his ministry in order to get blessings from God.

Emmanuel Newman Edward, the General Overseer/Senior Pastor at Newlife Christian Center INC. in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state, told interested people that the material gifts are needed "for the work of God". He said that anyone who donates to his ministry becomes connected to God.

He then went on to share his account number while advising interested donors to hurry so as to avoid last minute rush.

Though really young, Emmanuel's Facebook account shows he has worked in various ministries as a Senior Apostle and pastor before he became a General Overseer in his present church. Previous posts show him defending the extravagant lifestyle of pastors.

"Is Non of your Business," he wrote in a Facebook post in defense of a pastor whose members allegedly gave a private jet.
