Judge gives bailiff five days to serve Jonathan summons

Justice Okon Abang of the Federal High court In Abuja has given the court bailiff five days to serve the summons he signed on Monday, October 23rd to former President Goodluck Jonathan. The summon is for the former president to appear as a defense in the trial of ex-publicity secretary of PDP, Olisa Metuh. Justice Abang had signed the summon after Metuh through his counsel asked that Jonathan is made to appear as his witness. Metuh is standing trial for allegedly collecting N400 million from former NSA, Sambo Dasuki.
Justice Abang also on Monday signed a subpoena for Dasuki to be brought in as Metuh's witness. Both men, however, did not show up in court today. Justice Abang has now ordered the court bailiff to present the summon to Jonathan within 5 days.
