Actor Jim Iyke reveals how he lost the love of his life because he wasn't ready for marriage

Actor Jim Iyke reveals how he lost the love of his life because he wasn

Nollywood actor Jim Iyke has revealed that he once lost one of the best relationships in his life because the lady wanted marriage and he wasn't ready to settle down. In a new interview with Punch's Saturday Beats, he said,
“Compatibility and love are not enough to tie the knot. I have been in love before and the truth is that one of my best relationships never made it to the pages of the newspaper. She was a girl from Barbados, she was a very special girl and we were together for one and a half years but I actually lost her. There was something she wanted me to do but I could not at that point in my life because I was a little bit too crazy, hung up on fame and indecisive about life.
“She decided to make a decision for both of us by insisting I put a ring on her fingers. She wanted me to make that move or move on so that I didn’t block the space for another man because I wasn’t ready. She moved on because she was that strong even though she suffered the consequence of not being with me for a while. By the time I realised that she was the love of my life and started backtracking, a more discerning man had taken over; that was what happened. By the time I got back, I realised she had another man and even though I wanted to find a backdoor into her heart, I was shocked to realise that the guy is a sharpshooter because she was already pregnant for him.”

"Yvonne Nelson has given birth to a stupid child" - Ghanaian Counselor Luterodt blasts actress in new video

"Yvonne Nelson has given birth to a stupid child" - Ghanaian Counselor Luterodt blasts actress in new video

How on earth does a man who claims to be representing God say things that are clearly not Godlike?
Controversial and self-styled relationship expert, Rev. Counsellor Cyril George Carstensen Lutterodt, has called out Ghanian actress Yvonne Nelson following reports she welcomed a beautiful baby girl. But the worst part is, he didn't just call out the actress, he also insulted her innocent child.
"Yvonne Nelson has given birth to a stupid child" - Ghanaian Counselor Luterodt blasts actress in new video
Counsellor Lutterodt said children born out of wedlock are stupid and so is the actress' child. He said that there is no excuse for any woman to have a baby when she is not married and added that, such pregnancies, culturally are described as "stupid" so as the children who come out.

He went on to say that anyone who disagrees with him has no clue about the Ghanaian culture. He also said Yvonne is a disgrace and it’s obvious she’s even ashamed of what she has done, which is why she kept denying being pregnant.
"Yvonne Nelson doubted the pregnancy because she knows the guilt that comes out with this. She knows the process to pregnancy is after marriage. And if she has given birth unmarried, then I am very disappointed in her."
He said all this in an interview with award-winning Ghanaian broadcast journalist, Abeiku Santana on Okey FM. Most of the interview is in their local language, but they later switched to English.
"Yvonne Nelson has disgraced me by going to have a child out of Wedlock," he raged.
"What she has done is disgusting. I still stand by my word," he added.
It seems his problem wasn't with premarital sex but with the lack of use of contraceptives because he went on to say that she should have used a condom if she knew she couldn't abstain.
"Can't you use condom if you can't abstain?" he asked. "This is why I told you that before the Orgasm Conference, I am going to get a tank full of condom and I'm going to force it into the bags of women in this country. Maybe that will help.
"This is why I said it before. If a woman allows a man to use his own condom on you, you're a fool."

"My husband criticises me when I don’t kiss well in movies": Yoruba actress, Bukky Arugba says

"My husband criticises me when I don?t kiss well in movies": Yoruba actress, Bukky Arugba says

Yoruba actress, Bukky Arugba made news headlines in 2014 when she reportedly "snatched" her actor husband, Damola Olatunji, from another woman.
Since then, she has gone on to star in more successful Yoruba movies. The mother of twins recently had a chat with Saturday Beats where she spoke about the scandal surrounding herself, her husband and his other woman. She also spoke of her acting roles and how her husband reacts to them.
Speaking on the scandal surrounding her and Damola's relationship, she said: "People do not know the true story of an event but they just conclude and pass judgment. It was not easy for me back then because it was my most challenging moment in life. I am a very quiet person and it was a very gloomy period of my life but I thank God it is over. It was just the grace of God that kept me through that period and I would not want to comment further on that issue."
She went on to reveal that her husband has no qualms with her kissing men on set, instead he encourages her to do better.
She said:  "I am a professional so I don’t feel anyhow when I see him kiss another woman but as for me, I really don’t like doing things like that in a movie. But when I don’t do it well, my husband criticises me. He would tell me that I have to make it real. He would say that if I don’t do it well, it would not be real enough.
Whenever my husband is working on any project, he shows me the script first because I would analyse it thoroughly and objectively. I am always honest with my opinion about his work because no one can tell him the truth like I would. He knows that I would not be biased."

'We were deep into each other but she got tired of my lifestyle' - Jim Iyke opens up on why his relationship with Rita Dominic crashed

Popular Nollywood actors, Jim Iyke and Rita Dominic featured in alot of movies together back in the day but kept their relationship from the limelight.
In a recent interview with Broadway TV, Jim Iyke opened up on reasons their relationship crashed after a while. He said Rita wasn't looking at longevity and couldn't keeep up with his lifestlyle:
''Rita and I met when I was just beginning to embrace fame ,the comforts that came with it.The laurels and the distraction, even the destruction. And Rita is not the kind of woman that hangs around a groth. We were very deep with eachother. We still are great friends. As a matter of fact,it may surprise you thar we haven't spoken to each other in over two years. But when we meet,we are cordial ,respectful .

There is that deep rooted thing of a man or woman you shared something with .I don't think Rita at that time was looking at longevity, truthfully .Don't forget,I was the kid with the crazy afro, ready to start a fight.
My life was around having a good time and as many conquests as possible .So,who wants that kind of guy?So this question is futuristic in a sense .Fastforward peharps 10 years from now ,that question may have had dept or hold water .
But then, what was there to hold on to?I mean, seriously ?I was partying like a crazy person. She tried to show me another life and say listen 'there is so much more to you " I promise you that Rita will not hang around with a lay about .I was uncontrollable. I think we have outgrown each other now .I would not see Rita as son one I wantto get involved with because so much layers of growth and evolvement have gone on in her life and so is mine .So place the same place and situation now,it may have worked .

'I have never cheated on my wife' - IK Ogbonna says, however states that he can forgive his wife's infidelity if no feelings were involved

Nollywood actor/fineboy IK Ogbonna's controversial views on the definition of cheating (read here) might not be accepted by many Nigerians, but he however insists that he has never cheated on his wife and doesn't see any reason to. According to him;
For me, I looked for a woman that had everything that I wanted. From beauty to brains, companionship and friendship. I'm more about building my family, life and builfing a future both for my internal/external family. I really don't have the time (to cheat) as i'm always workin and whatever time left is spent with family.
On whether he cooks for his wife, IK said
Yes, I love cooking, The beauty of cooking is when you see somebody enjoying your food. The beauty for me is when I see the person I love enjoying my meal. She's actually smilling because of the meal I ccoked for her. I try to do everything and anything to maake her happy and If cooking is one of them.... She cocoks for me, I cook for her. It's just beautiful as far as I'm concerned.
On why he thinks men cheat, IK said;
People say it is in every man's DNA but I dont think so. It's a mindset. If you hang around people that cheat, you would probably become a cheater, and vice versa. I don't think every  man's cheat. It's a spiritual thing for some. Some Men cheat because they want to cheat. Same with women, it's a personal decision.

'I betrayed that love we had because of a man' - Tonto Dikeh writes emotional message to a friend who housed her when she arrived Lagos 10 years ago

In an emotional post on her IG page this morning, Tonto Dikeh revealed what life was like for her as a newbie in Lagos 10 years ago and how she betrayed a helper/close friend (pictured above) because of her ex-husband, Churchill. She wrote:
Happy birthday to a super sweet person, A lady with a golden heart..
Our story fast forward 10years ago..
I came into Lagos with my bags to start a new life as a SUPER GREAT CELEBRITY with little or no money in my pocket...
I struggled but it was all fun and exciting because it was a life I never knew..Excited I finally left HOME?? and my birth city.
I met this young lady who opened up her home and life to me..She lived in Mende,A little one room apartment but it was our heaven..We made mad plans there,We cried together,Laughed together, got broke,Famous and successfully rich together..You never for one day complained about how we miss used your clothes or home or ate your food without contributing to it smh.
Folake I still sit and ponder what kind of woman you truly are...You did all of this and much more and today I can only feel so much shame that when it was my turn to be a true friend like you were I betrayed that love because if a man.
I asked you to leave my home because I too ashamed to let you see that after marriage I was housing a man...I knew you needed me more but I thought I was doing the right thing(How cld I have knew any better)...
I remember how you begged me,knelt down,Cried and prayed with me when I told you I was pregnant with king and I had no intentions of been a mother..You spoke to me just like a true sister and God sent, you told me king wld be the greatest love I wld feel...Ever since that day I loved King, kept him and today am a mom and a Great one cos God used you to save us.
I guess this story is to properly say I adore you,I love you,And I respect you and to tell you AM SO SORRY FOR ALL THE PAINS AND HURT I CAUSED YOU IF I EVER DID..I pray and wish you all the greatest things life has to offer..You deserve the world and if I had it I wld truly spit it up with you..
Am so happy for you, your success, your Life, your kids and everything that concerns you... Folake thank you for being such an awesome woman and letting God use you countless times to make me a GREAT PERSON.
Folake may my God elevate and catapult you into you next realm of glory.
