Football star, Tammy Abraham has committed his future to England despite meeting with the NFF President Amaju Pinnick to switch international allegiance to play for the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
Recall that in September, the 20-year-old who was born in the UK to Nigerian parents met with Mr. Pinnick who is a friend of his father to discuss the move and was even offered a guaranteed place in Nigeria's World Cup squad for Russia 2018. Read previous post here


In a statement by the young striker, he made it clear he wanted England over Nigeria.
'I see myself as being a long-term England player. That is where my main focus is and I am 100 per cent focused on trying to get into that team.'I was pretty set on England really. It was flattering (that Nigeria wanted me) — it was nice to know that I was doing something right — but my main focus was England.'
